I am looking for the best option for 360CS tires? Seen some recommendations for MPSS, but does anyone have a direct comparison of how they work on the car compared to the original Pzero corsa's for road use, or track? I don't care about wet weather performance, just dry. I have always used Pzero corsas for mostly fast road use, and toyo 888's for track (although not available in exact oem size for cs), but that was over 6 years ago, no doubt that has changed since then, so any advice/help appreciated
    thanks

^The Brigstone RE11 which means you have to upsize the front to 235 vs 225 is the favored tire choice by one of our FChat Stradale experts.

I have the OEM Pirelli's Corsa on it now but will switch to either the MPSS or RE11 next mostly because I would like to be able to drive the car during the colder parts of the season.

The OEM Pirelli Corsa warn you not to use them in near zero temps and I am not interested in finding out why they warn about that on a car as special as the Stradale.

RE-11 or MPSS. RE-11 on CS is superb. Have only driven MPSS on 458's, 599 GTO and F12 and they had gobs of grip. For the money, RE-11 is hard to beat.

Michelin Pilot Super Sports. That said I just put a new set of Perelli Pzero Rossos on my GT2 and the tires felt great, lots of grip and high speed stability and they warm up in cold temp quite nice on the street. For the track I run Hoosier R-comp or Continental competition tires on my race car...no comparison between any street tire and a proper R compund. Also Michelin, Perelli, and Yokohama make great slicks.

For road use in my Challenge I use Yokohama ADVAN A050 R-spec race tyre they are awesome, pity they don't offer them in 19" I would use them on my road 360.

I have found the Corsas to be great on both road and track. After several track sessions, towards the end of the day they get a little greasy feeling.

I think the next set I try will the P Zero Trofeo R

I'm currently on my fifth (sixth?) track event on Toyo R888s. Takes about a lap to come up to temperature, and stays consistent for about 20-25 minutes. Starts to get greasy in the last 5 minutes of a 30-minute session.

Work OK on the street, but a bit loud for freeway use. I have another set of wheels with the P-Zero Corsas which is better for street use.

The third set of wheels has Hoosier R6s for time attacks.

The CS is a fantastic machine :D

Thanks all for your input. My suspicions are/were that any heavily treaded street tire would go off on track, usually takes about a lap! I will stick to the corsa's Which can cope with a track session but are fine on road. The 888's are really noisy on the highway but were great on track! The size difference always caused an asr issue on my old cs, so had to drive with asr off all the time, just not ideal if friends driving it.. I did over 25k miles on corsa's (for road trips) and 888's for tracks.. Problem was road trips including tracks, which usually went for the 888's

Dino - would be interested to hear your view on the trofeo's once you try them.

Now based in the Midwest (USA) so European fast road use not so much an option sadly!

P.s love the cs, such an exciting car in any company!

Its your car...so, fine choice. That said, there are lots of firsthand posts here about the superiority of RE-11 and MPSS on track and street on CS and Scud. I had Corsa's and now have RE-11 and they stick better, last longer and are far cheaper. Other than that, sure Corsa's are fine :)

[also, I've had no issues with 235 up front (better frankly) and have not heard of anyone having an issue...in fact I had corsa's in 235 up front too (scud size).]

Thanks - on track pretty much any road tyre lasts less than a couple of minutes before the tire overheats and goes off badly - too much movement of the deeper tread blocks. I ran 295/30/19 togo 888's on the rear and i think the slight increase (?) in tire diameter sometimes caused problems for the traction control system when driving normally, so usually turned of the ASR, but the performance (grip) with the soft compound tyre was far above the corsa's, even in the wet (as long as no standing water). I would imagine the MPSS Cup tyre (used to have a variety of those on an old M3 CSL) would be more a match, but don't think available in the appropriate sizes. The Trofeo R seems like an updated, more aggressive version of the Corsa, so may try that just to see how it goes.
Appreciate the input from all of you,
    Mads

On the street I was told to run the standard Cold PSI as noted on the door, 31 in front and 29 in the rear.

On the track I was told to start at the Cold PSIs do a few hot laps and come in and lower PSI back down to the cold PSI settings.

For the RE-11, I start at around 29/29 and then I adjust them hot to 34/36. Seems to be right on the money for even use across the tire for my alignment/suspension/track/driving. I've measured them the appropriate way, but I also use the cheater method of using a temp gun to just do a quick read across the tires.

Looking for updates on recommended tire choices for a primarily street driven CS on OEM wheels. MPSS and RE-11 have since been discontinued. My understanding is the Pilot 4S and RE-71RS are the respective replacements. Any other suggestions? 235/35/19 fronts or stick with the 225's? Anyone have issues going wider in the rear?
