    Just noticed a large chip on my Brembo caliper on my 458. Is there touch up paint available for the red calipers?

    I had a tiny chip on a yellow caliper for which I was unable to ascertain a color code or paint source. I went to a local hobby shop and purchased two bottles of yellow enamel paint that looked close to the color of the caliper. Trial and error, blending and reblending a number of times until I finally achieved a perfect match. And I mean perfect!

    I was able to find that Brembo red uses paint code RAL3020. So now to find some RAL3020 touch up paint!

    I ordered this RAL3020 paint pen and will report back my experience.

    Also through my research for everyone’s awareness who runs into this, I found this company in the UK who claims a perfect paint match for Brembo calipers, I’ll give it a try if the RAL3020 paint pen isn’t great.

    I blended these two and achieved a perfect match. I cant guarantee it, but if I recall correctly, the porportions were approximately 6:1, canary:school bus. Trial and error.
