    Paternity leave has me missing the TR and time on my hands,
    I figured id put up a small clip of the TR with ansa exhaust (3k) and tubi precats (1k). Car had cats on at the time. Not bad, tubi and Capristo sound a bit better but more money;)

    Thats a great sounding exhaust system. Why do you think the Tubi sounds better?

    i have a tubi and its not as loud as that overall im happy with the tubi wakes up at high rpm

    The tubi is higher pitched which i like better.
    Keep in mind that part of the nice sound here is also due to precats being deleted and replaced with tubi pipes. That’s why its louder than blkdiablo33...for me this is the ideal set up...but instead of an ansa i would have the tubi for the high pitched
    I also know used to have the car with no cats at all basically free flow.. it was nice but for me the gas smell was a bit too much and i wouldn’t pass emission here in California;(

    I know one thing, if you run your TR with out mufflers or CATS it does a lot of cracking and banging on the over run! Still kicking around the idea of cut outs.

    I didn't smell exhaust, I can't remember if I had the windows open or closed.

    It’s true but its 3k vs 8k and they are pretty painful to source.

    It's crazy to me how those Kreisseig pipes can take a TR and turn it into the same sound as a modern day V12 F50/Enzo/F12 etc. I absolutely love the sound but will never be able to justify the $8k price point, and believe me I thought long and hard about it.

    Exactly! Maybe if I already had the differential installed and didn't already have an exhaust plus money to burn haha. It's a tough call. A shame someone can't do it for $5k. It would be a no-brainer to me at that point.

    The first car in the Kreissieg vids is a 512M and sounds incredible, the next 2 are TRs and pretty much sound like every other exhaust I've heard.

    Maybe the M has different exhaust ports, cam timing etc etc that would affect the sound.
