I'm in vacation for 3 weeks, and I plan to drive anywhere in continental Europe where I can get on a track and do lapses with my 360. I was thinking either (or all of) Germany, France and italy. So far, the few French tracks that I checked require that you belong to a club, or do the sponsored events by your brand of car. I don't want any of that. I just want to show up (after having made reservations in advance), pay for the track and insurance, and do my 20 lapses.
Is this possible, if yes, where?

Obviously the Nurburgring is the main place that you can just turn up and drive, but even this is on the 'public' days, not when the circuit is in use by clubs / factories / race teams / testers / jounalists / etc. Spa is the greatest race track on the planet IMHO, so make sure you get there ! On Fcar club days, you will get way more than 20 laps there, as from memory they open the circuit as early as 0730hrs sometimes, and close at 1800hrs.... Any F1 circuits are much harder to get onto unless on a club day, but France in particular has many other circuits worth a go, Abbeyville being an example. I can't remember that I've ever had any noise testing at a circuit other than in the UK, so that's another advantage of European trackdays. My advice is to get surfing on the net, Googling by circuit name. Good luck. J.

Zandvoort/ Abbeville are very leisurely open pitlane trackdays,

Zandvoort is around 50 cars booked I think, 25 on track at once, at the moment

Abbeville is 15 cars booked, 15 on track at once! so no queues there then :)

Croix is a Race test day turn up and pay for day/ 1/2 day 3 x 20 min per hour sessions (split by car type )

Should have said to do the first two will require an 'annual' join fee of £35
