    Open the trunk and cannot shut it unless I unscrew lock and pull on cable. Where abouts is the solenoid located? Going to check it out tomorrow but any help will be helpful.

    I think it’s in the left corner of the trunk.
    Bad switch possibly?

    The solenoid is located behind the carpeted panel in the boot, on the left hand side of you are facing the rear of the car forward looking. You need to unscrew the rear cluster inner carpeted cover first, before the access panel. I had a brand new solenoid specially made by a solenoid manufacturer, ping me if you need a replacement as I have a spare brand new one. Check the fuse and switch as well
