My '76 308 does not have dual points (R1 & R2) in the distributors nor the R2 microswitch on the carburetor. The distributors have a single set of points in each. I'm puzzled on how to set the timing, dwell, and gap on this car. The workshop and user manuals are very specific on setting the timing and adjusting the points for dual point distributors but nothing for single point distributors. Anyone got a clue?
