Hopefully someone can help me to give me the correct two-tone color combination of the Ferrari 500 TRC with number 453, which participated in the 1957 Mille Miglia.
This is my research so far and please apologize / correct if I am wrong.
The 500 TRC with serial number 0690 MDTR was delivered in 1957 by Ferrari in red with blue stripe. In the literature I have read that this particular car also participated in the 1957 Mille Miglia in the same color combination. If I am not mistaken, the restored car still is in this same two-tone red and blue.
However, the restored 500 TRC with chassis 0670, which to my knowledge did not participate in the 1957 Mille Miglia is painted in red with yellow stripe and also carries number 453 referring to the Mille Miglia.
Does anyone knows if the car was either red with blue stripe or red with yellow stripe? To date I could nit find any color photograph from the car during the race.
    Thanks for your input!

Unfortunately I can't help you about 0690MDTR correct colour combination but 0670MDTR is now painted in a dark-ish red, featuring only the "96" number she wore in the 1958 Targa Florio.

0670 MDTR never raced in the (historic/real, old) Mille Miglia.
0690 MDTR is the car with race number 453 in the 1957 Mille Miglia, driven by Siro Sbraci. It was painted red with a light blue-grey stripe, large “Ildriz” sponsoring sticker across the hood.

0690 MDTR was raced a week before the 1957 Mille Miglia already, at the 5 May 1957 XIX Coppa Consuma hillclimb by Siro Sbraci on race #344, who placed 8th OA and 6th in class, same colors/livery as at the 1957 MM.

(As for 0670 MDTR a previous owner believed his car to be the 57 MM car and decided to have it painted red with a yellow-ish stripe. This, of course, was wrong.)

Dear Marcel, thank you so much for your answer! I was really hopen, that you would react. It would be stunning if you have any reference to the light blue-grey color. Once again a big THANK YOU.
