I am having new leather straps made for holding the tool kit and manuals case. The upper strap connection to the car is held in place by two hex head fasteners. It certainly appears to me that the lower strap is held in place by to small rivets.
Can anyone confirm? None of my bits fit and my old eyes , even with my readers, can not see the detail.

Yes those are pop rivets. The left one has the center shank still in it, the right one doesn’t.

Those can both be drilled out, or the head cut off and punched out.

You’ll need to remove the frunk panels from the car because if it’s like the 430, there are metal backing plates on the backside of the frunk panels.

you should consider chicago screws when you go to reinstall. Easier to remove again in the future than riveting
