Thanks! You know for me, it was an experience...that which doesn't kill me, makes me stronger. I'm ready to get back to rolling, although I wouldn't want that to happen again!

    Good luck with your recovery!

I'm going back to rolling tonight just for the fun of it. I was suppose to Box today but my trainer couldn't make it so... after years, i'm going in there. It should be interesting? We'll see... Just a one time thing.

Thanks so much! Same to you. I ruptured the Achilles and was back boxing 5.5 months later so not too bad eh? I ended up hitting the pads a lil too exuberantly the first month or so, had these bruises over my knuckles. Invested in a long pair of Bad Boy Mexican wraps and that did the trick. Just takes awhile for my trainer to wrap my hands LOL.

    Nice!

Yeah but you'll be back in the grove in no time. Just go easy on the Kimura and Omaplatas LMAO. I don't know about you but when I was on crutches, I would dream about muay thai and training and sparring. I never realized how important martial arts was to me until it was ripped from my life suddenly. We all should be so lucky as to make full recoveries from our various injuries and live to get back on the mat.

P.S. can't wait to see Evans get his face pounded in by Davis this weekend. I hate that guy sooo much LOL.

I don't know about that one.......... With fairly equal wrestling, Evans easily has the edge in striking. I think Evans will knock him out.

That may be true. I have not seen a lot of Phil Davis, there was his one bout against Little Nog. I think Evans is too arrogant and would rather see Hendo-Bones at UFC 145 than Evans. Anyhoo, just hope it's a good match and also looking forward to Sonnen-Bisbing.

I hope Sonnen puts a beating on Bisbing. Don't like that guy.. and I was upset with Miller's performance against him. Hopefully Sonnen can shut him up.

I've hated Bisbing since he was coach on UF. When Hendo laid into him, I was so fired up. I've always liked Sonnen, he came the closest to defeating Silva in the recent past. May never get his shot if Anderson is as injured as the rumors say he is.

Yes Hendo knocking Bisbing out was epic, especially the extra punch for a statement. Bisbing was ****** both seasons he was a coach on TUF, I really wanted to see Miller beat him. I hope to see Miller back in the UFC, I like him even though that last performace was bad.

I like Davis too, especially if the fight goes to the ground. I think Phil's striking will be vastly improved since Little Nog when he looked out of sorts in the first half of the fight before coming on strong. Switching from double leg to single takedowns showcased his versatility and adaptability which will serve him well against a crafty Evans. Davis has superior length and strength against a smaller Evans and I expect this to work in his advantage. Davis is good from the clinch and if he can set up Evans with some punches and legs he will be OK.

Miller represents the 808 so I root for him. Sonnen is a great tactician capable of transitioning well from striking to takedowns and will be a more formidable opponent than Mayhem. Look for Sonnen to exert his strength from the mount.

Sonnen will take Bisping down at will, like he does to everyone else. We'll see how effective Bisping is at getting back to his feet. If he can keep it on the feet, and neutralize Sonnen's TDs, that will be his only shot. Or, he can go for the submission, but Bisping is nowhere close to Anderson in the submission game, and look how long it took Silva.

I think Evans is too much for Davis. He's had more creditable oppenents. I'm really not a fan of Davis. He walks around at all these fights like a thug with his hooded sweatshirt. At least Rashad shows some.... I hate to use the word class but something like that. He dresses the part and respects the UFC position. Twice now I've seen Dominic Cruz and Phil Davis together run around like kids at UFC and Strikeforce events.

Am I the ONLY one here who actually LIKES Bisbing? Can't STAND that Sonnen. He talked his way to the top! Such a big mouth.

Even though I thoroughly enjoyed Hendo's KO of Bisping, I don't have an issue with him (I just like Hendo more).

Sonnen is a talker, no one will deny that. But as far as talking his way to the top, I have to disagree. He has proven himself, and is where he is because of how good he is. If he gets past Bisping (which I fully believe he will), to a rematch with Silva, he has a better chance than anyone else of beating Silva. As far as Sonnen's talking goes, I actually find him to be quite entertaining.

This is a fairly inaccurate statement. Sonnen is a brilliant tactician and one of the top middleweights. He earned his stripes against Marquardt and was 2 minutes away from a decision win over Silva. He didn't say sh-t before fighting Stann, mostly because there was no benefit in trashing a war hero. Sonnen does it to build hype for the fight, and he succeeds by backing it up in the octagon. He was game for Munoz and didn't ***** when Bisping was bumped up to be his opponent although Sonnen had to prepare for a different fighting style. He is probably willing to tackle Bones or GSP and a fight fan has to respect that enthusiasm.

I use to watch Sonnen way back when. Before he fought in the UFC and even before his WEC days. I've seen him lose more than he won. (well kinda like that anyway) and that's the Sonnen I keep recalling. Yes, He has gotten alot better since. But I'm just not impressed by him EXCEPT... His Last fight. When he fought Brian Stann. That's just the way I see it.

I can't stand Sonnen. He's a cheat, a doper, theif, and a sore LOSER. He did well against Silva, BUT, he lost. Plain and simple. That would be like Pat Berry saying he beat Cheick Kongo cos he beat him up a bit before he got KO'd. Sonnen wasn't even man enough to go to sleep, he tapped.
Sonnen is so full of himself that it's a joke. The one thing he is good at is marketing himself.

After that interview with Sonnen, i hope many of you realized what a Jacka** he really is. Too WWE 4 me. I was hoping Bisbing won that fight. It was close but I did see it 29-28 Sonnen. Rogan got me excited there for a bit when he said Sonnen may have won the third rd. but it wasn't enough.... I though Evans fought a very smart fight. He controlled the fight from the beginning. I thing Jon Jones was laughing the whole time. EASY DEFENSE!!!!!!!

I missed the Sonnen/Bisbing fight but glad Sonnen won. Not a fan of Sonnen really, just don't like Bisbing.

Saw the Evans/Davis fight.. Davis had it in him to last 5 rounds but that was about it.. it wasn't that exciting.

Ditto. I hope sonnen gets his rematch with Anderson. Davis was really outclassed. His striking still needs a lot of improvement. He failed to utilize his reach advantage and looked gassed rounds four and five. I'm optimistic about his UFC career but he has a ways to go. He will get better with experience IMO.

Bones will destroy rashad. April seems an eternity away.

The energy level of the 1st 2 fights of the main card was disappointingly low. The whole main card was just okay, but the prelims were a whole lot better.

That submission by Oliveira over Wisely was a thing of beauty. A pleasure to watch that level of BJJ. One of the best subs I have seen.

Roop/Swanson fight was so entertaining as well. Roop looked like he was going to perhaps have an easy time, but Cub fought with a ton of heart and got the win.

That Einemo is an impressive fighter. 1st time I have ever seen him. He has the skills everywhere, never stopped working off of his back, and impressive reach and striking as well. Russow did enough to win the fight, but Einemo was more impressive to watch, IMO.

Excellent scrap between Lentz and Dunham - maybe the fight of the night for me. Two very highly skilled fighters going back and forth - lots of heart in both fighters. They are both approaching the upper echelon of the division, and are hopefully not far away from title shots.

Maia seems to be following the George Gurgel route, and that is allowing his very high level of BJJ to become secondary in his tool box. I just don't get it. Why just about abandon what got you to this level in the 1st place?

I was not impressed with Sonnen's performance at all. He was lacking his usual energy. He did enough to win, but not a whole lot to entertain fans. He better regain his level of energy for Silva.....

Phil Davis is a very likable guy.......he's always smiling, and just seems to have a good heart. I like to see guys like that do well. He lost to experience, plain and simple.

Well said - I don't get what Maia was doing, and while he's doing it, he has to realize it's not working! However, Weidman is an excellent grappler - something they noted in the broadcast - he fought Galvao in the ADCC and it was close. Maia probably knew that and chose a different plan...still, you play to your strengths.

Sonnen was lackluster. I think he probably overlooked Bisping. I'm not a big fan of Bisping, but I have respect for him - he's definitely a solid fighter and probably had a lot to do with Sonnen looking that way.

Davis was just outgunned by a more experienced guy - I think you hit the nail on the head. The good - he wasn't KO'd or submitted, build upon that. The bad, he was thoroughly outworked standing up - he needs much more work there.

The big story here - UFC on Fox has been a little underwhelming so far. They need a BIG time fight to get the excitement up. I'm really looking forward to Diaz / Condit, but that's a PPV, something for them to think about.

I agree. I would like to see them broadcast an entire card, because you know you'll get several exciting fights out of it typically. I know that is a lengthy commitment, so maybe time delay the broadcast by a couple of hours, and cut out all of the filler in between fights.
