Hello from England I have owned my red beast for 5 years and I still feel like the luckiest guy in the world every time I open the garage door !! The testarossa has been my dream car (obsession) ever since I opened the Dec 1988 issue of Autocar and Motor and saw their road test and pictures of this truly epic car. I have recently installed a few simple mods that have improved the driving experience. 3 of the 4 mods were designed by and purchased from Hills Engineering-namely: Hills 50mm steering wheel extension boss - rectifies the straight arm driving position Hills Drilled pedal set with optional wide accelerator (gas) pedal for easier heel and toeing Hills "Slick shifter" gear change H gate - allows faster and smoother shifts Momo type 88 320mm wheel trimmed in alcantara Pictures below ( I could only load 1 picture onto this post ?) Forza Ferrari !! Tr boy AKA Clive Image Unavailable, Please Login
The picture the OEM H gate is on left hand side, the Hills replacement is clearly different and is CNC milled from a solid billet as opposed to OEM being cast. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The HE parts are great - but i don´t like the Momo. I went for the 512TR steering wheel. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sebastian - I see you have the pedals and slick shifter (dead pedal is only available on lhd cars) Have you fitted the steering wheel spacer and any other upgrades? Sports exhaust ? Also were the 512 seats an easy install? Best Tr boy Clive
Hi Clive, i have a genuine Momo steering wheel spacer (25mm) and many other upgrades. Please check this thread -> http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=382372 The seats aren´t easy to install. You have to modify the runners, because the testarossa seats are wider. Best, Sebastian
