For those of you out there who are MG nuts, I read some sad news in that what is surely held in regard as the USA's most well-respected MG specialist for the past 35 years will be closing in July. Their website http://www.universitymotorsltd.com alone is an excellent resource for many of us with LBCs (that's Little British Cars) in our garages and the founder of U Motors, John Twist, is a truly stand up guy. I was preparing to trailer my two MGs ('67 B-GT and '56 MGA roadster) to John for a spring tune and service and just literally this morning after lining up transport, I found out the sad news. They're located in Michigan, which, as we all know, is in a horrible economic state, and furthermore, John's wife is battling cancer.

Our thoughts are with him and his family and certainly sad news all around for the MG community.

That is very sad news indeed. I've dealt with John before, guys like him are few and far between.
My prayers for him and his family.

John played a big part in helping me restore my 62 MGB. This is the first I have heard of this. Thanks for the post, I'll be calling him tomorrow.
