If the definitive Blu Dino Metallizzato is the hue on omgjon's spectacular 246 GTS, it gets my vote as the most beautiful blue shade ever seen on a Ferrari! Fred
I'm partial to the very dark blue, the very dark green, or the dark burgandy on just about any Ferrari..... I am tired of red or yellow cars...

I quite agree. Most Ferraris are, by definition, sporty in appearance, and don't require the visual "wallop" of a color such as Rosso Corsa or Rosso Scuderia. Additionally, the darker shades give great accents to the lines of most Ferraris, giving them a kind of split personality. One of my 246 GTs is Blu Sera, with a tan interior, and the dark exterior color is an elegant counterpoint to the Dino's sultry lines. Fred
Here's another different blue one. Tom still awaiting your response on the color of the 4600 mile car?? Grant Image Unavailable, Please Login
Tried to get a decent image of the color at OGP last year as the car was parked behind our pitbox most of the weekend. Very interesting car, very nice owner. If I recall correctly the gentleman driving it was one of the officials for the Historic Formula 500 cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
