Would like to know where the current market is on a 1990 F40 US Spec with 15K miles.
It has been cosmetically and mechanically religiously maintained. Is complete with all paperwork etc.

Is this a $1.5M car or over $2M USD.

I have an opportunity to acquire but I am unsure of the market. All I know is that is a grail car for me and I’m not getting any younger.

    thank you for sincere replies.

Inflation usually brings an increase in hoarding

You could do a lot worse than to hoard an F40 in your garage !

I was going to buy it with the help of Joe Sackey. The car was in for pre-sale service, and it was found that it needed a ton of work including replacement of the the turbos. Joe can maybe elaborate. The owner was not happy and decided to unfold the deal. I had already given a deposit, so as you can imagine I was crushed. Joe immediately was able to find me a Euro version that I ended up purchasing. It is currently at Ferrari of Newport Beach getting a major service.

Joe is the man by the way. He did everything from getting the car inspected, test driven by a local expert, arranging shipping, and getting the car in the service department at Ferrari of Newport Beach to have an F40 expert work on it. He is a ridiculously valuable resource that I highly recommend.

Exactly, we need a tipping point, then there'll suddenly be a dozen available.
