Hi Jim, very nice poster too...Would love to see one of mine on them. Quite some taste you (and they) have ciao Oscar
Jim Good news on the Dino Competizione, I am due (hoping!) to collect my 599 from Maranello in April, if the dates work it would be good to meet up regards Mark
too bad i can't make it this year again... i'm absolutely sure i'll be in 2009, i sincerely hope you'll bring about something spectacular then too
Jim, Reading FChat, before the Daytona 500 NASCAR Race, on this cold icy morning, in Mid-Michigan, I see your new signature; "I don't care if it has electric windows. I don't care if the door gaps are straight but when the driver steps on the gas I want him to **** his pants." Enzo Ferrari I laughed out loud!!! May I use it on some of the other car forums I visit, as my signature? If not, it's OK, I thought I would ask you, common courtesy, I guess. Did Il Commendatore, really say this, regardless, it's still something I can see him say? Ciao...Paolo
My wife and I will be in Italy at the right time and may come up to the event. Am I correct that the public day will likely be Sunday (the 27th) again, just down the road from the Villa itself, and that the events on the 25th and 26th at the Villa are reserved for entrants and invited guests only? Those details are not yet on their 2008 website, but that was the information shown for 2007. Regards, Jim Walker 365 GT 2+2 #12451
My friend who knew him very well told me Mr. Ferrari said that to him regarding the F 40. Feel free to use it. Best
2008 "test" website, not yet officially released, but has some 2008 informations: http://testwebseiten.de/concorso/en/index.php Alan
Thanks for the information, Jim and Alan, We will make plans to attend. Regards, Jim Walker 365 GT 2+2 #12451
It is time for my stupid question of the week: Was the Dino featured in A Clockwork Orange? If so, how about reuniting it with Malcolm McDowell as you have reunited 0846 with mr Vaccarella?
Coincidently, I just watched that movie last night, and while there is some facsimile of a sports car in there, take comfort that it isn't your Dino. And for the record, that movie is just as whacked out as the last time I saw it when new (1972?).
It looks like some Luigi Colani contraption. As far as beauty and esthetics go, nowhere near this spectacular Dino.
Official website updated: http://www.concorsodeleganza.org/en/index.php Sorry but no informations about definitive lineup. Alan
I have never been to Villa d'Este, but really want to go there! Can you just go there and visit the concours or do you have to buy tickets in advance? And the only 'public' day is on sunday? The other days are only for VIP's (not me, I'm afraid.. ?
