Is anyone going to the Concorso d'Eleganza at Villa d'Este? Do u have any idea what the '07 dates are? I can't find on the website.

Has anyone been to the Concorso and Monaco Grand Prix?

I would love to go to both but don't think that is a possibility.

Any advice, comparisons, opinions of both?

    Thanks so much,
    cj

Hi Simon, I have seen your awesome foto's before and even bookmarked the thread a while ago. Just being greedy and want more. :D:D:D

It's amazing how many are spoiled with beautiful scenery over there. Hopefully one day. What is that lake that runs through Villa D'este? Anything remote to Lake Como?

Man I miss Europe already :(

Yes, Lake Como. Very pretty on the swiss italian border. Tessin/Ticcino has to be one of my favourite places in europe.

I'm also a big fan of Canada. Spent many winters around Banff snowboarding. Even living here in Switzerland the canadian mountains are awesome.

    Thank you Sir! :)

I agree. Our country is so damn big. I havent even been out west to the Banff area. Although you should try Ontario one day. Some nice sites out here too. No mountains though LOL. If you ever do gimme a shout...I'll have a couple of those pints (Like in your avatar) waiting :D

MONACO I was there only one time at the first race 1997.Everything was closed and blocked like a Formula 1 race. The only thing you could do was sitting on the grandstand the whole day and get a " testarossa " read head from the sun.But there where hundreds of cars from all classes and races without an end.And a lot of very rar formula1 and sportscar ferraris
VILLA D ESTE I was there the last 5 years.( I can do it as a one day trip ) The cars are parked the whole day ,the most of the engine bays are open and its no problem to talk with the owners. And also all the experts ( Massini / Keith Blümel and so on ) are around . Ticket and a fantastic catalogue are each 10 euros.
My personal favorite is Villa d Este . For me a must each year . The second one is Mille Miglia ......
