    Step 1) Pick out a new stereo - I chose a Blaupunkt Toronto 420BT.

    Step 2) Fabricate some nice speaker housings for the rear parcel shelf.

    Step 3) Remove the old stereo. I installed this one in 1988!

    Step 4) Examine the mess! But don't get scared.

    Step 5) Install the new stereo, button everything up and admire your work.

    Looks like a lot of fun - IT WASN'T!!
    BUT, the sound is fantastic.

    Like that unit, looks vintage but is completely modern on the inside.
