I’m sure you already know, and although it’s not a Zonda there is a Huayra on BaT right now. Currently at 2M
Hope you got your collection started. I am in the same boat-ish. Started my collection a few years ago. Currently at 10-ish (few race cars).
Love the 10 commandments. All Very true. Only thing I would add is: thou shalt invest in vehicles that thou truly loves (not just what thou thinks will go up..)
    Cheers. Keep it going!!

I decided I want the 458. I looked at a 458 spider and made an offer on one but wasn’t able to get it. I offered $230k but it went for more. I’m still scouring.

I scrapped the idea of getting an xj220 after learning more and decided to invest in one via Rally rd.

as far as a Pagani … it’s not going to happen for me. I thought I could get something based on auction records that were 8-9 years old.

Gotcha - makes sense. Word on the street is that 458’s are hot right now and going up, so that’s a good direction.
It’s hard to know what’s going to go up; low production volume, unique attributes or options, early production #’s of a certain model, etc. But you must always buy what you love…
I have a 2 owner manual ‘08 R8 with 18k miles. Bought it in ‘10. Was my first ‘expensive collector car’. My wife and I love it and I don’t think we’ll ever get rid of it… it’s our date-night car. We both believe this car will go up in value since it was an Audi renaissance of sorts for both their road and race cars. Shoot I may be way off, but we love the car and it’s with us 15 years now…
A handful of years ago I fell in love with some V12 Ferrari’s. I found a gorgeous 1 family manual carb’d 400GT, and just before that a manual ‘95 456. Love them both… and hoping they appreciate…

Excellent choice! You’ll find the 458 community one of the best here. Though I thought you wanted the 360 to row your own gears? What made you change from you to cpu? Perhaps conversion?

    Kind regards.
