Always wash it myself... It's also a way to keep an eye on the car exterior conditions...

I always wash the big bubble I keep my car in, myself.
I find fulfillment in knowing that I cleaned the big plastic bubble with my own hands.
Although every once in a while, I'll let a professional detailer come over and detail the bubble.
Man can he make a hermetically sealed zipper shine. ;)

Gas station carwash. I prefer the ones with the fiber brissles. They clean proper not that "touch-less" crap. $2.00 with a gas refill. How can you beat that?

AutoDry is the best thing to happen to car washing since the chamois (which is now unnecessary). $20 at the local Target or Walmart and washing my cars has never been easier.

Hint: be careful to shut off the water flow prior to switching from soap to rinse or the unit will develop a nasty leak.

Basically, a hose attachment that filters the final rinse, so it evaporates spotless. No drying. Do a search and you will find a thread or two with pros and cons.

  7. Fiber bristtle = no no you dont want anything like that touching your car it will produce swirls. Even when hand washing with a wash mit you can induce swirls without proper soap with lubrication and a proper wash mit. Washing one panel at a time from top to bottom. Even then you still can have some minor swirls nothing a small polish and random orbital buffer cant take out though.

I wash all of my cars myself. I know it's done right. I even tip myself sometimes. LOL It's part of the enjoyment of owning nice cars. I park the cars in the driveway and wash them. Usually someone driving by stops and yells, nice cars.
