What's the deal? Did someone just remove the side louvers, or was this an actual option? I'm no expert on the 348...I think I like it better ala the 355.
The slats are removed in the 348 Speciale...a limited edition of 100 in the last year of the 348 production run.
The 348 Speciale does have the slats on the door panels (see pics) - the rear grill was different though. The Veilside 348 Evolution has no slats on the door panel. Paul Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is that the same 328 that has something like only a 149mi on it? Asking around $150K Cdn? If so, that car has been there for years. Only a museum piece now...
Yep, it's the same one....Scotti's got another in red with under 1K on the odometer....and a Lotus Esprit twin Turbo with under 1K....unfortunately he seems to be very expensive!!!
They had an 1989 Lotus Esprit for 49. 500$ . As for the Testarossa , they're asking 95. 000$ and the 328 GTS and the new Esprit V8 for 139.000$ BTW they had a black Mondial for 59.900$.
I don't have the pictures, but my frienf converted his 348 completely into a 355. The body panels are straight fits according to him.
Ahh memories....I remember when I used to work a street away from Scotti's and once in a while venture (during my lunch hour) downstairs into the basement with Paolo Scotti's blessing. The garage was also a lot of fun. I remember seeing a smashed up F-40 that took roughly a year to fix. Like Ali Baba's cave, it was quite impressive. But I would be weary of that low mileage 328, as well as a few other cars there with questionable histories. Behind those urban legends, lurks a hint of truth.
