    I read once about the Bigfoot (does not exist IMO), that if a hunter were to see one and shoot it, while being probably the greatest zoological find of our lifetime, it might also result in murder charges if the Bigfoot was eventually determined to be closely related enough to homo sapien to be considered human.

    Human beings have Rights because their primary means of dealing with reality is a combination of their freewill and their capacity to abstract at high levels. Animals aren't defined by such attributes, do not rely on them to survive (try explaining your right to life to a charging lion.)

    Having said that, it's an unhealthy mind that abuses any creature unnecessarily (do you hear me, redistributionists?)

    Bass went out roughly 10 years ago in the UK but Guinness is still going strong :) why I dont know? an aquired taste I think.
