These bits were in a box of random parts and hardware that came with my project 400. Can anyone tell me what they are or where they go?
I'm also wondering what finish does the boot closing catch on the boot itself have, silver or passivated yellow like the latch? And what finish does the bonnet opening lever have? Is it chrome/silver plated, is the knob on the end different to the shaft? Thanks very much in advance! Image Unavailable, Please Login

The top piece looks like a suspension bushing. The two lower pieces do not look familiar. The finish looks as though they have never been painted, maybe fabbed for unknown purpose.

Could the bottom part be the striker plate for the front bonnet?

Good day, maybe solved in the meantime but nevertheless:

The piece in the middle of the photo is a mounting bracket at the rear side of the radiator for the oil radiator or ATF radiator.
The piece beneath in the photo is the hinge for the front hood (likely right side).

I did discover the bottom piece was for the bonnet hinge, but had no idea about the oil cooler bracket so that's very helpful thanks. I'm still unsure where that bushing goes

Part at top is in my opinion a front A Frame bushing as suggested in second post going into the frame as used in 250 or 330 - see photo part 7. I dont think it belongs to 365-412 but perhaps someone knows differently?

    Good day Christopher,

I would have to agree with your assessment insofar as the part in question not being associated with the 365/400 suspension pieces. I say this, as I am involved in rebuilding my 365 suspension (which is very similar to the 400), and none of the bushings I have encountered are anything like the one posted by Tim.

That being said your sleuthing efforts that the part belongs to a 250/300 looks very compelling, well done!

    Cheers,

    Sam
