what are you drinking tonight?

I don't really drink any more. But grabbed a six pack of NOMO River Refresher IPA non alcoholic beer. When I did drink, big heavy, bitter IPAs were my thing. These are light, fresh and tasty. But do have the nice bitter-Hoppy flavor.

I cringed extremely hard in Venice a couple years back, when a(n otherwise) very lovely couple from 'sconsin near us at La Caravella were taken aback as their old fashioned had been made with solely Maker's Mark, bitters, and a sugar cube, instead of brandy, soda water and a maraschino.

All my summers working in the Dells as a teenager came flooding back to me in that moment

Local white peaches are in season, so I made a batch of puree to freeze and save for Bellinis.

Not tonight but I’ll pick up some green zebra heirlooms tomorrow to make these this weekend. I have made tomato water Bloody Mary’s before but they were too intense (should’ve gone 1:1 with regular tomato juice).
