So, 430's have one of these "vapour pipes" for both banks. It connects from the oil tank/reservoir to the rubber boot before the throttle body. LIke most modern cars, I figure its part of the oil tank pressure relief system and/or the emission system that takes excess oil vapor and circulates it back to the engine for combustion.

What makes this part different from other cars I have had is that it features an electric connector which suggests a switch of some sort integrated into the air pipe. Does anyone know how this works or the operating logic? Just curious. I need to replace both of mine as they are cracked and a bit weepy from years of track duty-related heat (and they ain't cheap). Appears the non-us cars have a different set up with a switch-less pipe (at 1/3rd of the cost).

    Thanks in advance all!
