At $695k now.
From the Vintage Section, the only Dino I am seeing for the upcoming auctions in a couple of weeks is: RM 254 1973 Ferrari 246GTS #06462 RM $550,000.00 $650,000.00 I am not sure if there are more and they just haven’t been posted up yet
Actually, the company that has the GTS on BaT currently at $850k has a GT coming up right after this one is over....that will be interesting to see!
According to the owner reply to one of my many BaT comments, I think it is the same color as mine— Marone Metallizzato— not sure if euro or US. Also not sure if that is the car next up— owner just mentioned they had that car in the inventory. Maybe Shawn knows.
We will see if this establishes a new bar on Dino's. I am sure happy (like you) that we bought ours already. Looks like it was perfect timing.
I was lucky to get mine. The BaT Dino is a special car but a rising tide should lift all boats so long as the quality is there.
It's special since it's a Chairs and Flairs car and frame up very nice restoration. But, mine is a frame up restoration by a famous European restorer and Ferrari in Maranello was directly involved in me buying it......so that to me makes IT special at least to me.
Actually, I only became a Eurospec "devotee" after i searched for my 328 and saw the stark differences visually (not to mention lighter in weight and more horsepower and sleeker). so yea I"m a Eurospec snob. Hence i have 2 full Eurospec Ferrari's and will get a full Eurospec 512BBi next....what's in your garage?
Too bad you feel that way, I bid $425k on a US spec Dino back in March and it wasn't enough. Then tried to buy 2 others but they wanted too much ,I have connections in italy and got lucky. I think the US spec is gorgeous i just think the Eurospec is more gorgeous.
Broad Arrow Auctions, new this year, to be held at Monterey Jet Center in conjunction with Hagerty's event (which was formerly called McCall's Revival...or something like that). A number of former RM specialists jumped ship to Broad Arrow. https://www.broadarrowauctions.com/vehicles/jc22_075/1972-ferrari-dino-246-gt 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT Lot 38 | Monterey Jet Center Auction | Estimate $400,000 - $500,000 https://www.broadarrowauctions.com/vehicles/jc22_095/1974-ferrari-dino-246-gts 1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS Lot 32 | Monterey Jet Center Auction | Estimate $375,000 - $425,000
People can choose to be friendly, kind, inclusive, helpful and nurturing. Build a sense of camaraderie. Or they can choose to be the biggest swinging dick in the room. Bragging, posturing, excluding. Lupo has it all going on. Only the best. I’m sure your Euro Dino is quite superior. Congratulations. Enjoy it in good health.
Stavo solo dicendo che io preferisco un Dino fatto in italia per Italia. Se per te non va bene vai in mona.
