It's not strange really.... The question was "what is the most collectable?" . Not what was the most competent or accomplished. If that was the question, then 458GT2 every day. There were single digit numbers of 348GT's that raced.... Not so many to go around. just my 2 penny's..
Also...355GT? Aside from Yellow racing at LM and and MasterCar at Daytona, both of which were privately developed...there is not a factory built version that raced.

But the 355 GTs did a lot long distance races. Not official Ferrari, yes but there was nothing else to run at this time.

The 458 GT2 is a great car but the american Grand am racing series restricted the car down to 465CV to make it competitive with the Porsches and Audi's. Grand Am is all politics.

There were very few 348s that were built and raced because the car was simply just that bad. Few examples of rubbishy does not make rubbish desirable!! Thank goodness very few were made, not a machine that Ferrari should want to be remembered by!!

It's a fair point Peter! I would agree that the 458 is by far the most accomplished, no question. The 488 has big shoes to fill 😎

Absolutely, and believe me, I for one, am certainly going to try my hardest!! Starting from the Blancpain 3 hours of Monza onwards!! Before that (Daytona, CoTA and Sebring) will stick with the trusted "old" 458!!!!!

Would be nice for the 458 to go out on a high! Good luck next year, presume you to be staying with AF Corse?

There are 2 steadfast rules to racing for me:

Only in a Ferrari and never without AF Corse

I'm in for the 360 NGT. Many of those cars won and won and won. Aside from their history it looks like they can be run without someone from Microsoft on the payroll.

Not to mention, they are great to look at!

I think we should end this thread, interesting results for me. The 458 GT2 won, this was no surprise I would say.

    Thanks for the votings.
