I agree, Longines has staged a nice comeback. They haven't overpriced themselves and have generally kept their designs clean, tasteful and well executed. Mine above is from the Master Collection. The Flagship line is really quite beautiful. Although the rose gold is too formal for my personal style, here's my favorite from that collection - can be had under $4k: Image Unavailable, Please Login
A 1970 Gold Wittnauer. This was my Grandfather's retirement watch from FDNY. I had a custom deployant made for the Hirsch strap. -dsd Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I wear a Rolex Oyster Datejust with blue face on a normal basis, and sometimes switch it up with a Breitling Chronomat Evo (its 2 tone and on a nice dark brown croco strap).....Now my only problem is I have a cast on my left hand until next Tuesday from a recent hand surgery and cant wear either!
Just got this from VTC on Tuesday. It is very nice Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

You need to get the Clarifi iPhone Case. http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/clarifi It has a switchable macro lens. Way better for text and watches. You can see my iphone pics above with it. Best, dsd
I really like those Longines. Very nice watches! Wearing my Porsche Designs 911 GT3 Cup watch today. Really a nice watch!
I am wearing now an Audermars Piquet Royal Oak Offshore with custom brown leather attatchment strap, quilted in white stitch and custom white face, (also have a T3) my fav however is a nnice simple Breitling Navitimer or the Emergency. Would love an A. Lange & Sohne Perpetual, but its just so damn expensive!
I really like the look of these watches, but for a manual-wind, does the movement justify the cost? Just curious.....
What does manual wind have to do with it? Would you think an automatic would make the value proposition better? -dsd
