If you can find it... I doubt it though. Ferrari says the reason for updating has to do with emissions. Apparently the old software doesn't comply so they won't be able to sell it. I think it's BS though. I think they wanted to prepare the owners in 2012 ahead of time for the more quiet stock Speciale and then the silent 488 sound since going turbo was the plan all along. Step by step change is easier digestible than just dumping the quietness on the customer
Not like an original ecu would. Heard many different set ups from Novitec exhaust to catless f.i, muffler less, titanium exhaust etc. not a single set up got them back. The magic comes from the fuel timing
This. The Speciale was for certain a prep for the 488 disappointment. And you know I didn't like my Speciale sound at all.

I'm not an electronics expert or computer wiz.....However is it not doable to clone a "popping" ecus software to a pc and then flash other ecus from there? Could be a good little earner for someone with the right know how? Regards Michael Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

I've seen some 458s that have received their fair share of abuse, but I'd never seen that before. As sloppy as a guy can get with his car, any car, let alone a Ferrari. Appalling! Can only imagine what that car has been through. Kind regards, Nuno.
