Yep for awhile though after that Jack In the Box was about the safest place to eat.....they were cooking the **** out of everything. ;)

And yep most sit-down type burger places will ask how you want your burger cooked around here. Even Red Robin.

Yeah, I remember Bill Gates doing interviews saying basically the same thing. He was a big fan of Jack In the Box.

Two things surprised me when I moved to Eastern Washington and ate at a restaurant the first time. Smoking or non and how do you want the burger.

Yesterday was a day at home so it was a cooking day.

First was two pieces of chicken breast oven baked in peanut and soy sauce.

To go with this I made rice with carrots, peas, lentils, and a mix is Asian 5 spic and soy sauce. Shreedded the chicken and mixed in cashews.

Part of meal two was 4 prices of chicken beasts rubs with BBQ sauce and a variety of spices. Let that sit.overnight and I baked all prices in the oven using cherry coke.

For the side I put garlic, black pepper, and a chili into some olive oil. Added quinoa and beef broth to simmer. For flavor I added carrots peas black beans, lentils, and some more. The end result was very tasty.

Together we had a healthy meal.

The last bit of cooking was to use the leftover lentils. Put a some beef broth, carrots, onions, garlic, and pepper to simmer.

    Enough for one person!

I'm probably the only kid in the world that thought corn dogs were utter crap. And I still think they're awful.

The old AA baseball stadium in Memphis called them Pronto Pups. I liked those. The coating was sweeter, closer to a pancake batter...T

nah, El W, I always have my burgers medium-rare. In fact one evening a couple years ago at a Ruby Tuesday I sent back THREE that were grilled to dark brown straight through. On the last I asked for the mgr, nice guy who came to my table. I told him I was raised during WWII by a frugal mother of German descent, trained to "waste not-want not" and regarded waste as a mortal sin, but wasting three over cooked burgers the worst eating sin of my life. He himself hand-cooked my medium-rare burger and gave me a chit for a free meal my next visit. P.S. yeah, I'm in the Great White North, had some snow just laset week.
