Either is fine but I use sweet if I can find it. Preference.
I don’t use a recipe. Just kind of feel and taste my way thru.

You guys up north celebrate TG soon, no?

    Chili. The final product.
Wife likes her's over rice. So, after about 9 hours of simmering yesterday, 3 or 4 more today.

I finally bought a new crock-pot a couple weeks ago. So the other night I grabbed a big ole chuck roast, aome potatoes and a red onion. Threw it all in the pot with some seasonin and let 'er rip overnight. I bought a couple parsnips to add too but forgot about them. Was tasty and I'm still eating leftovers. Yumm.

Today was the first cool day in forever. Good day for meals like chili and pot roast.

Cheap Marsala wine from Kroger. Didn't have enough time to hit the liquor store. And, a bunch of shallots.

Yup. Took the GT3 RS on the track this morning. A little slick til it warmed up. Just put the fajitas in the fridge to marinate. Treadmill time...

We're supposed to cool off to 40s overnight by end of week. I'm sure it'll feel good, initially, then I'll be whining for hot weather.

    Reducing the sauce.

Hmm. Probably would have worked better with more sauce or less chicken. After babysitting the world's most spoiled dog all day, I'm starving, so the "less chicken" option is off the table.

Our patient. She's got a herniated disk, so the vet has prescribed rest and spoiling. The latter turns out to be much easier than the former.

My dog is outside most of the day, his choice. He has a water dish out there. This morning the dish was frozen...……… I plan on getting an early dinner today. Thinking tuna and salmon sashimi with chopped scallop rolls.

Our average first frost here is mid November.

Leftover shallots, garlic and lemon juice from last night. Added some marsala. Slowly reduced it. Was pretty good once the shallots reduced enough so they were not bitter.

Salmon burgers with jalapeño cream cheese and the above sauce. We used the fancy Kroger white bread!

I know, the London theme is likely getting tiresome already...but THIS dinner was high on the list. Surprised it took me almost a week to get to it (although I went to Burgundy for 3 days, delaying getting my fish and chips on).

The Guinness was awesome. I’ve had one three days in a row. After not drinking a beer in literally months.

yup, surprisingly I really like mushy peas (with a bit of pepper on them).

One step ahead of you...we have had Indian literally everyday this week. Including Pakastani take-out yesterday and leftovers for lunch a few minutes ago. I'll look for any pics...nope, can't find any as I didn't deem the takeaway picture-worthy. I do have a few pics from dinner a couple of nights ago: first pic is a smothered samosa chaat with various chutneys, then some saag paaner and chicken tikka and some naan.
