It is a crazy pizza the salad is pickled herring, beets, hard boiled eggs, onions, maybe acquired taste like the pizza lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
herring in a fur coat! I’ve seen it online a couple of times, so interesting how the beets turn the mayo pink. Does yours have potato as well?
Was boring last night. Stole some ground beef from Bella and made a homemade cheeseburger. Tonight I'm craving deep dish pizza, going to Little Caesar's and getting their deep dish special. Brother will probably be over and pizza is the only take out we can agree on.
I don’t recall just wolfed it down. From a Polish grocery. I’ll slow down next time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Our "healthy" meal go-to; zoodles with turkey bolognese...surprisingly yummy everytime. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Working our way thru the batch of pizza dough we made the other day (had enough for 2 more pies). This one with kielbasa, onion, olives, and sun dried tomatoes. Very yummy. Very crisp crust bottom again from cooking it in the cast iron pan inside the outdoor gas grill. Before pic, after pic and a picture of the wine we drank. My wife was giggling like crazy when I went to grab a bottle of white to drink from the fridge...turns out she got some labels made with the new puppy on them...labeled it as a take-off of Sangiovese grape (puppy's name is Jenner, so Sanjennese)...she got a wrinkle in the label that goes across the pup's face, but still a very cute surprise gift Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Have another craving for Cinnabon. The closest to me is in Bellingham across the border and half hour away. But just discovered our Pizza Hut's carry the mini ones in an eight pack. So tonight is a Pizza Hut night.
Yesterday we had a snowstorm in Boston. My wife was supposed to go to the Italianate Courtyard Room at the Boston Public Library with a girl friend for the Holiday Tea. Her friend couldn't make it, so I went with her (any excuse to drive the FF in the snow ). Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Victoria has a grand old hotel built in the early 1900's. The hotel is very British in decor. The Empress (hotel) - Wikipedia They serve afternoon tea. I've done it a few times while staying there. They also serve a Sunday roast, excellent and worth staying at the hotel for. "Fairmont Empress" - Luxury Hotel in "Victoria" - Fairmont, Hotels & Resorts
Her friend was taking my wife there for her birthday. Her birthday isn't until the 21st, but we will be in Florida then. BTW, I see you are in Key West. I hope you drove the Cali there!
Had leftover chili so stopped and bought some dogs and buns for ....chili dogs. Only problem was, got home and realized I totally forgot the dogs. Had to run back to the store and get them. It's only about 2 miles away so not bad. And it was almost nice enough out today so had driven the cool car. Food lord it's filthy though with all the gravel and puddles left on the roads from our recent snow. But I made it and finally had my chili dogs.
Artisan rustic pull. Costs extra here in Portland Genius using a cast iron skillet. I use a stone in the BBQ. Highest temperature setting. Pre-heat 10 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle corn meal on the stone then place the pie. Corn meal acts like marbles to help slide off stone when done. I also put a few hickory chips in a smoke box in the corner of the gas grill.
Oh, and BTW, as good as the food looked, we barely touched it, we didn't even eat the flowers! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Cayenne. Great ride for long distances and has enough storage for the bride! Taking the 612 or FF to Florida? T
Holy moley. That looks like the chocolate cake my sister baked for me as a kid after myself and my 13 cousins got through with it. I'm guessing it was pretty good! T
Quick Dallas stop . Pecan Lodge Bbq . 1.8lb (one rib) and 1 pound brisket . Oakra and Cole slaw. 6 hours later in the loung I'm stuffed . Image Unavailable, Please Login
Back from Florida, so we had to indulge in a little Southern New Year superstition. Black eye peas and pork for good luck. Supposed to be ham hocks, but the Kroger was out. Image Unavailable, Please Login T
