The only thing of note this month: https://ineskohl.info/crockpot-chicken-and-stuffing/?fbclid=IwAR37UD0GmGgfKASdZTUnujO3Y2hFvj-DbY8VRjG6Y5_mKYV8tHMvi8dB3Sk made it yesterday. For four I would add more stuffing the recipe calls for. Next time I will also add onions.
Bookmarking that. My wife would love that! My strategy for staying warm in our cold snap is to slice some Thai chili peppers I got at a new Indian grocery in our town. Image Unavailable, Please Login Pizza the other night. Harvested a bunch of green tomatoes before the hard freeze. Saw this Indian inspired recipe. Didn't have coconut milk, so I skipped that. Blitzed in two Thai chilies once I separated out some for the missus. Tasty and nice heat. https://holycowvegan.net/green-tomato-stew/ Image Unavailable, Please Login Topped with some crushed up spicy potato chips I had, which had a nice curry / rubric vibe. Thanks to this thread for that idea! T

I am going to have fried fish for dinner tonight. I always like to eat fish, especially in the winter.
Another attempt at Indian food…this time we made; - butter chicken (I made this and it was meh) - basmati rice - fresh naan (wife has got this down finally) - aloo gobi (wife made this and it was by far the best Indian dish we have made - this was perhaps the best aloo gobi I’ve ever had in the 100’s of Indian restaurants I’ve tried around the world, not to mention at a half dozen family members’ homes.) Wife went with the slow cooker yesterday. Came out great. I stayed away from the potatoes and only tasted the carrots. Not a fan of cooked carrots. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The chicken and stuffing in the crockpot is good. I made it for four people and could have added more stuffing. Tonight is leftover meat lovers pizza in the air fryer. Since I'll be still hungry. Making some perogies that I'll mix in the spinach, artichoke, and parmesan dip I got at Costco. More because not much dip left and I want to use it all tonight. No pictures because I haven't made anything yet.
Interesting. I'm the opposite. I'm a "seafood in the summer" kind of guy! Image Unavailable, Please Login From Huff Post, so who knows. But, F-chatters in WY and MD need to amp up their Cholula usage! Where the heck are people in Iowa getting Huy Fong?!? I thought there was a national shortage! T

A twist, I made French onion soup but instead of a floating cheese loaded crouton, I made an Asiago/Gruyere panini, cut it into batons, and dunked. Image Unavailable, Please Login
