Nice country and back roads to get there. Fries were meh, the rest top notch, including the dessert - not pictured - which was homemade cherry cheesecake! T
Forgot to take pics but over at Dad's today to play taxi... and threw a big Ole Chuck pot roast in the crock pot this morning. Added some tiny taters and carrots tiward the end. With a salad was a tasty meal.

Developed a quick brining protocol a few years back - salt, brown sugar, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, apple cider vinegar. Add in whatever you want to pickle. Zap it in the microwave. Shake. Chuck it in the fridge. Fast and tasty. I've done cukes, red onion, jalapeños, serranos, carrots, etc. that way...T
The final Pie from the batch of 3 I made the other day. Perfect fall meal with blanched green beans. Spent all weekend cleaning in preparation for upcoming visit by friends for salmon fishing starting tomorrow. So nice to pop this into the oven and 20 minutes later, voilá.
