    Wheel Spacers, OK so I REALLY believe my 430 and CS could live very nicely with 15MM rear and 5-10 MM front wheel spacers, any comments, has anybody done this ???

    Ive always thought the rear wheels on the 355's 360's and 430's didnt fill in the wheel wells properly. I just recently sold my 360 but I was going to put 15mm spacers on the rears....

    Sold the 360 already ..... :eek:????

    On the spacer subject ..... I agree 100% in 'stock' form most f'cars could use some wheel spacers ..... :)

    Why would you want to spend 5-7K for a new set of wheels, nice as they are, when you can buy a set of 4 spacers for $200 bucks?

    I have a set of 15mm spacers, and lug bolts, as they have to be longer too for sale, front and rear, this is the best fitment, I have tried all sizes, [email protected]

    For those F430 who have installed the 15mm spacers using stock OEM wheels, has anyone tested if the tires would rub against the fenders under heavy braking and cornering? I wonder how the setup will work on the track?

    rear will be fine
    not sure about the front
    probably fine with stock suspension I would imagine.

    I just did 15mm fronts and rears on my 430 Spider, perfect spacing, tried 20mm, too much, car is also lowered on Novitec Springs, no rubbing whatsoever. I have the stainless/chrome 15 mm longer wheel bolts if anyone wants them as I went to Titanium one's.

    If Novitec wheels only costed 5-7K, I would buy them in a heartbeat!

    I think they are at least 10K for a set if I recall correctly.

    Has anyone actually done a back-to-back test on a road race track to see if the spacers actually help performance? {(instead of just feelign better? (if that?)}

    That is run at least 2 sessions without the spacers, then run a session with the spacers. Having somebody/something time the laps precisely.

    I would gladly do this if someone would let me borrow their 360 or 430..............oh yeah, and their spacers too of course.

    Have wheel spacers on my rear tires (F430). My local dealer tell me they are no good and some things might brake and they should be removed and go back to factory default.

    Any insight on this?

    I had H&R 15 mm front and rear. Terrible. Took them of and bought wider rims. Same offset but one inch wider front and rear. Will give me the same visuable result 1/2 ich closer to the fender edge. Works great.

    Never installed wheel spacers on any of my cars and definitely wouldn't do it on my F430 as I heard so many negative reviews on them. I prefer to keep they way it looks stock than risking to create new issues. Besides the look, I don't see really the benefit of it except issues with alignment and handling ;)
