Meilenwerk in Berlin, a converted train repair station. You can rent a glass box (if you have an interesting classic car) and have access to it any time if you want to go for a drive. To the right of the image is another array. Visitors can enjoy the cars from all sides, even from upstairs via a staircase, but they can't touch anything thanks to the glass boxes. On the other side are classic workshops and car detailers.
If you fetch your car on a weekend you have usually a dozen of spectators, so stalling the engine is not an option.

Adrian WOW does not begin to describe that setup. It is fair to say that if we had a contest then you would be the clear winner.

access to the first floor cars is a little tricky so falling off the ladder is not an option too!!

Adrian, you win! I have visited this place twice and it is like arriving in heaven. You can easily spend half a day visiting the cozy café (I park my wife here), looking at really nice cars, shopping spares etc. I can highly recommended to visit this location next time you pass through Berlin.

    Best Peter
