Can someone please tell me, the shop manual is incorrect and calls everything right
Would love to help, but I’d be guessing. Not sure if you’re asking for a 599 or a 612, but if it’s the latter then maybe ask on the 550/575 forum? Same engine as in those.
Bank 2 is the left bank (cylinders 7-12). Oxygen sensor 2 is on the rear manifold of the left bank (Cylinders 10,11,12). You still must determine if it is an upstream oxygen sensor (before the catalytic converter) or a downstream oxygen sensor (after the catalytic converter), as there is one of each on each exhaust manifold. There are 8 oxygen sensors total on the car. The downstream sensors are very difficult to access.
And what is the recommended test procedure?
Connect a Ferrari specific diagnostic computer (DEIS, Leonardo, Etc.) to the car and look at the inputs/parameters of each oxygen sensor from each fuel injection ECU( there are two, right bank 1-6, left bank 7-12).
