Hey guys, Thanks for all the kind words. I truly appreciate seeing that all of you guys share my joy and excitement.

As mentioned, I'll be posting a separate thread with more pics and impressions later. I don't want to highjack this thread :)

I'm looking forward to more posts in this thread from owners taking delivery soon ;) Believe me ... it sure is worth waiting for. No driving done today (boy the weather is bad) but it is supposed to clear up tomorrow. Leaving for Spa tomorrow with both the HGTE and GTO. I can't wait to take it out on the track.

    Cheers,

    Happy M :D

Anyone have any idea how they 430 Scud compares with this car?

Is it possible that the scud may feel more balanced as it is mid engined, or is that not even an issue at this point?

Gorgeous car and it's great to get some owner impressions and first hand accounts of the car instead of reading it from a magazine, thank you.

My Uncle is on the list, I believe his local dealership had three allocated to them.

Indeed. I only see one downside with a white car: you just keep polishing the thing ;) It's never clean enough.

That would be my dream combination as well, white with Silverstone stripe down the centre and gunmetal rims.

Btw is that a CL63/65 beside the GTO?

The Nero with matte roof looks so menacing! Very intimidating.

CL AMG for sure . I can't see if that's a 63 or a 65, according to the exhaust tips.

Good deal - so you have some time to think about the spec, what are you thinking about ordering?

Congrats Randy! I have an Oct. build date and for the first time in my life I wish snow was on the ground instead of 90 degree summer days. The good news is that you'll have your car by spring. Just in time to stretch its legs. While mine will be sitting in the garage for three months.

I'm going to do Rosso Corsa with a Grigio Silverstone roof (the matte black takes too much care) and I'm doing the nero interior, carbon fiber front headlamp bucket and wheel caps, white tach, leather interior, red stitching, full electric Recaro seats, Bose stereo, parking sensors and fire extinguisher
