I reviewed it just fine, you clearly missed my point.

Some fool on here said Verstappen won the title with an uncompetitive car, my question was why did it take him this long to win a title, do keep up Bas.

 

Just imagine a 22 year old rookie beating the legendary Fernando Alonso, now that is different level isn't it.

 

Depends on if the team sabotaged the other driver...wich in fact hapened

 

...and the only legendary thing about Alonso is his big mouth!

Indeed a fantastic first season against the mighty Alonso.
Would have loved to see the same duel in a different team than Mclaren..

 

No one said the car was uncompetitive (except for you).

And you asking why someone in an uncompetitive car took till the end of the season to win the title...well...that explains itself doesn't it?

This year, both the red Bull and the merc were pretty competitive and evenly matched, i would say merc had a slight advantage on most circuits, certainly at the end with that mega engine, Max was the one making the diference, elton was on a good level and made some great performances, but the fact he was under pressure made him make more mistakes, he usualy looked imune to, and in the end, Max is simply faster than him, so without a car advantage, he really had no chance, and fact is, it was only due to other circunstances that he was even in the running at the final race, because without the blow-out at Baku and the mercs taking him out twice, Max would have wrapped it up at least 2 races before the season finale.

 

I think you must have been sleeping during the beginning and the middle of the season.

You also must have been daydreaming in the final two races, remind me again who had the faster car.

I hope so too, and i believe most of us around here do too....If Charles has a car as good as the merc or the Bull, he will deliver, Max is very, very good, but if anyone can take him, is Charles.
