It was fact, not partially true. Charles should have handled Carlos quite easily given that it was his first season with the team, he clearly didn't.
How long is he going to sulk? Seems very disrespectful to the team that supplied him with 6 championships. Maybe he should come out with a new shirt ..."Still I Hide"
Until the attention of the masses wanes. His every action is calculated to maximize his social media footprint($$$$).
Remind me again who won out in 2010 when Button joined McLaren and who won in 2013 when Hamilton joined Mercedes.
You perfectly know ( if you are honest ?) Sainz outscored Charles mainly because Leclerc had more DNF, not by his own fault. But if you want me to say Lewis is a better driver than Jenson or Rosberg so my answer is YES. No need to manipulate history. I just wanted to put things into perspective.. Get it ?
He only had 2 DNF's hardly terrible reliability. See, we can all play silly games, they can all be Beaten, ask them all.
Grosjean and Mercedes "still keen" to set up F1 test https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/grosjeans-mercedes-still-keen-to-set-up-f1-test/7365403/ If Lettuce really wants that drive he’s got to stop his crazy talk: “I loved it!” responded Grosjean. “It was exciting, my heart was pumping like hell. And I think having two cars fighting over one lap for the World Championship was amazing. “I think the wrong conception is to think that the world championship went on one lap. It was 22 Grands Prix, and if you look at the full season, you know Max had the puncture in Baku, Valtteri Bottas crashed into Verstappen in Hungary, there was the Silverstone race [clash between Hamilton and Verstappen]. "I think at the end, if we look at how many points were lost by Verstappen, not necessarily by his fault, he was the one that deserved more the championship.”
I think he's still suffering from the effects of his accident. It's not Masi's job to play god and say "Well Max had some bad luck at Baku, we will pay him back for his misfortune."
I still don't understand why people expect him to make public appearances or issue statements. Nor why it's assumed that he "hides", because he doesn't wish to play the media game during the inter-season. The season is over, so why can't Hamilton enjoy a bit of peace in privacy?
Up until a month ago the guy couldn't stay off social media, letting everyone know his every thought that went into his head. And now he's lost, he's dead silent.
So ? Abu Dhani happened since. Kudos to Hamilton for keeping quiet and staying away from the polemic, IMO. He is after all, the victim of this shenanigan, so I don't know why people expect him to act as if nothing happened.
Yap, they only costed him 50 points since he would have probably won both races, nothing much, lololo
Was one of those races where he brought it on himself after crashing and costing Sainz a probable pole? Lol
I think Hamilton will be back- he loves competing, loves the money, loves the spotlight. I remember how plainly pissed he got when the podium VIP would ask "How's Nicole?" after a race before paying proper respect to him. That question was asked one too many times and she was gone, never since has his flavor of the month been revealed. I admire how he usually found that one extra tenth to edge out Bottas in Q3 if Bottas led after Q2. He is a great champion and will be back, I'm looking forward to seeing him and Russell duke it out and some more epic battles with Max. I don't think Bottas would return unless he gets a multiyear deal, Piastri would be an exciting choice but so out of character for a team that wouldn't pit under a safety car at the last race.
I agree. I think the issue is that Hamilton with this show of pique - is now making it harder for him to come back, and also jeopardizing Mercedes F-1 season, by taking up time to decide on who will be driving. if Hamilton leaves - then even if its Vettel or Bottas in the seat they will need time to acclimatize to the new car a bit for set up etc.. there is lots of sim work to be done... and trusting the new guy with it all just does not seem to be a great idea... that being said we dont know if Hamilton is in the sim yet or not... I think for him to return, he will have to say something positive about F-1 and why he is there.. I just dont see the FIA rolling over like they ( Hamilton & Mercedes ) seem to want them to do... but you never know. I still think Hamilton needs F-1 way more than F-1 needs him.
