Was out for a run TODAY and came across a really crisp twenty dollar bill. I immediately scanned the sky for Ben Berneke to see if he was tossing cash out of his helicopter. Sadly it wasn't to be. YET.
I found $50 in front of a Mexican restaurant right after having lunch one day. Paid for the meal with plenty left over.
I found about 60 bucks in the dryer today. I didn't even have to leave the house. If I could get that up to a few hundred a day I can retire.
I found a 100 washed up the beach this past summer. Couldn't help but think maybe; Tubbs and Crock had a deal going down and they pushed the money man over the side of the boat.
Thats easy money drives politics and religion loves to take money.. I found $500 bucks I stashed away years ago to fix my Sea doo which I ended up selling one week later and I forgot about it found it last year talk about woo hoo.......spent it in one day...
A friend of mine found 3 one hundred dollar bills rolled up to look like cigarettes infront of a dep. Then on the way home, he lost one and some other guy picked it up.
My wife finds money all the time in my pants pockets while doing the wash. $$ is never seen again. (by me anyway)
I wouldnt post anything about finding any money in a public forum. I think that would qualify as a "windfall" and be taxed appropriately by Pelisi, Obama & friends. Ernesto
Rolled like cigs Hmmmmm???? let me guess did they look like they were covered in icing sugar like "powdered" donuts...
I have been lucky over the last 12 months. I have found a few $5 notes and a few $20 notes here and there.
Like Evolved, found a Dead President Jackson just one morning before his run - broke that bill for some gum, then on a whim, turned a One into a couple of Benjamins with a Nickel Royal Flush... on third hand, mind you.
when i worked at a movie theatre, i used to find cash all the time, their rule was you turn it in, and if no one claims it by the end of the night, you kept it. i found probably a total of 200 bucks when all was said and done at that job, the biggest take for me was a 20 with 20 singles rolled up (to make it look like someone was banking, lol) but money was probably the least interesting stuff we would find, lol
I once went into the bank with about $20 in change, but the machine that counts it was broken and didn't count my money, it actually spilled a ton of it inside the machine. The cashier came over to fix the machine but found my change was mixed with a ton of other change that had also fallen out. They had to give me everything that was there, so I walked out with like $65
From the title, I thought that WaMu found a $20 error in your favor on a deposit you made and actually returned it to you..........I'm deaming again
I am always suspicious of finding paper cash when it is in a parking lot or other public place... like I expect it to be attached to a piece of fishing line and then some jerk will have me on camera chasing after a bill he is pulling along.
After a very spirited bargaining session buying my first car, I finally relented and took it for a little more than I had hoped. After I got the car home, during the first major detailing, I found $700 under the back carpeting by the seat! I wish I still had that car! (Factory 4wheel disc '69 Z28)
Ha ha ha we use to pull this prank when I was a bartender to the busboys except we tied a string that was attached to a bucket of water above there heads.. This one busboy was so fast that he grabbed the $20 put it in his pocket and was walking away before the water spilled totally missed him......we let him keep it.
I went to Home Depot, stuck atm card in the atm machine to withdraw cash, but card wouldn't go into the slot. Pissed me off because next nearest atm wasn't all that near. I looked at the screen. Text on the screen was, "Would you like to make another transaction?" I just rolled my eyes and ejected the card.
Anybody else ever have an ATM dispense wrong bills? A few years ago, just went to grab 40 bucks, got 200 instead.
Yes, but on purpose. Bank did a holiday present thing in which they randomly replaced bills for higher ones. I think I got an extra $10.
