Here are the pics of my dad's XLR he has about 3k on it in the last 3 months. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I figured you would like the chassis to bad you still have to wait a little longer to see it on that other GM car it will be used on the street. The color is called xenon blue and really looks sharp. Erik
I might have a better chance of being able to get a date with paris hilton then drive that thing to the AC gathering really I have been driving it off and on to get gas and run close errands. So i may be able to take it. Erik
I didn't like the car until I saw it in person in blue. I have seen a black one and it looks sharp. The darker colors are better by far. Erik
Cool car, but I on the other hand I don't like the color, But thats just me I don't Like dark blue on anything, definitly sports cars. Just my view, seems like other love it tho.
never seen that car before, neither on photos.... well, I like it....it seems to me so "american"....good, very good.... Only really don't like the instrument cluster....but I like every other thing I can see in these photos by this car what kind of engine has it?
I like them a lot. They look really good in person - they are really wide actually, and it looks good. They have what Eddie Murphy calls in The Nutty Professor, "Tank ass"
The car has a 320hp northstar engine that puts down 310lb of torque. The hummer is my mom's car and she doesn't let my dad drive it that much. He switches between his xlr, cl500, and 355 spider. If I get time I will take a picture of the 355 and xlr side by side. I agree with some of you that say the gauges look cheesy. I thought they came out of a taurus. The new corvette ones are better IMHO. Erik
i looked at these a few months back before they came out. it's a 4.6 liter rwd V8 that makes 320hp@6000rpm and 310lb-ft@4400rpm. five speed slushbox - no manual option. it stickers at $76K or thereabouts. i have not driven in one, nor seen one in person, but i couldn't bring myself to seriously consider spending that kind of money on a cadillac. this car is over 60% more expensive than their next most expensive car (the seville), and it's over 30% more expensive than their next most expensive vehicle (the ESV). it's not clear to me who they're targetting this at. if they released it day-and-date with the R230 SL they'd have gotten a TON of spillover sales from pent-up SL demand that couldn't get met fast enough --- though the SL500 stickers near $90K, which is a big bump over $76K. doody.
