I was glancing at the Tribune classifieds today and noticed the following: "Ferrari 1964 330-GT 2+2, Blue/Red Lthr, lo mi, restored at great expense and appreciating 12 cyl. classic. Must See. $45,000 847-772-1700."
Also, there is apparently a 1967 365GT 2+2 for sale at Ogden Lincoln-Mercury in Westmont, with an asking price of $59,987. 91K miles, but supposedly "beautifully restored". Their web site is http://www.ogdenavenuemotors.com/ If you go through their web site, you can get a coupon for $100 off! Hey! Sad to think that someone traded that in on a Navigator or a Grand Marquis. They also list a blue 2001 550 Barchetta---no price.
If thats the car that is at Knauz,it's been For Sale for a few Years. I've seen ads for it at least for the past 3 years. It is a 4 headlight version. Blue and Red? No wonder it's not selling.
The Knauz car has been for sale on and off for 10 years. There's a rather interesting story about a prospective purchaser looking at it on Tom Yang's 330 America site, I believe.
Most people don't realize it, but we (Fox Valley Motorcars - Lamborghini Chicago) are silent partners with Ogden Lincoln-Merc, Ogden Chevy, and North Shore Ford, which is why we have a Lambo down at Lincoln every now and then.
I was wondering about that,Mike. I live not very far from there, and have passed by and saw Lambo's in the window. A Gallardo, recently.
