I'm still not sure... here are the Brianza pix I promised anyways. This model is 1:14 scale and retailed for just over 2400 USD a few years ago. It is simply amazing!

It's the car in this link, do a search for "yellow gto" on this board, it came by here many times.

I do not believe this is a model... details are too crisp and features are unique to this car such as the rear deck lid that is not like a production 288.

A modell will be an exact duplicate of a 288, this is not.

The gravel size is large, but I think is consistent to what I have seen when in Italy..

If this was a scam, it would be alot easier to use a "stock" 288 as the "carrot"...

Carlo Brianza made a large scale model of the 288. Barring the motor photo, I bet thats what is pictured in the link. I have a few pix of this model saved on my PC at home, I'll post them later tonight.

Nice catch with regards to the tarmac gravel LOL.

that wouldn't be that difficult this day in age with the technology we have, and it does look extremely clean for an 18 yr old engine + bay, maybe it's just me being cynical (and maybe a touch jealous!!)

If it is a model (and I can see what you guys are saying) then the under bonnet deal is fantastic :-)

I agree, something from the photo's does not look right, either the tarmac is using huge gravel or its a model car.

Not sure whether it's just me but the way the photos are taken it looks as thought the car is about 4 inches long?

Good question, but if I won around $5 million US, I'd add it to my garage!!!

Awesome, and as much as I hate equating cars to money, this car is not going to depreciate.

The car is discussed here before:

"How do you put a value on this?"
I don't know, 10% more than a regular GTO? 1.3M Euros seems a little steep, 4x normal value. This is one of the prototypes from a period Auto Motor und Sport magazine:
