Well, I used to be able to say I'd never seen a truly ugly Ferrari... no longer... I'd have never even recognized them as Ferraris. The one looks like a Ferrari kit car made out of an AMC Pacer... the other some weird interpretation of a Dodge Charger. Can someone post a picture of the 308 "rainbow"... if its still getting votes after those two, I have to see it. (Now that I've already been scarred by the others.) And am I mistaken, or do we have two different designers credited with the 250GTO?

Drogo desinged the 330P4, perhaps the most beautiful car ever as well as the 250GTO |

How about the "Jerrari" W. Harrah had made out of a perfectly good 365GT2+2? Surely, someone has a pic? I want to say there was one in Forza a while back . . . I am also not a fan of the 365GT2+2 Chinetti Jr. NART Specials.

LOL and LOL again! Man....that is one "odd duck". Kinda looks like an exotic AMC Marlin. I hate the way it looks but I can't stop looking at it either! It is definately a "velvet Elvis" car or a "Wayne Newton in Las Vegas" car. Gawdy Gawdy Gawdy! |

Bill, good idea! Put me down for $100. Oh yeah, and, since I live here in SoCal and it's so convenient, I'll keep it in my garage during its down time. ;-) |

FChat proudly presents: The Ugliest Ferrari Ever Built! Hahaha. That's awesome William. Ultimately the Challenge car was more what the posters were willing to shell out the cash for though. A lot more fitting for the forum too, don't you think? Cheers |

OK, so what if each of us throws in say, 20 or 50 bucks. We buy that ugly bastard, and it becomes the official FerrariChat car. DES can work it out with Rob to take it to shows, etc. The publicity alone would be worth the cost. And, just think, we'd all own a piece of ferrari history. Whaddya say, Guys (and the few women tolerant enough to frequent this board)?Oh, and Rob, i just thought of this: if you took it to the company car show, they'd probably give you a raise! |

Yes, it is for sale right now in S. California. Its one claim to fame at one time was its name identity as "The Golden Car" with nice emblems to that effect on the rear sail panels. It was in that configuration back in the 1970's when we had it for sale at FAF Motorcars. But then somebody took the emblems off and repainted it resale red! |

My candidate for the ugliest Ferrari ever made is this 330 GT 2+2. Thankfully it was not a production model but a one-off by Drogo.

I have to agree... the ugly winner should go to the 308 "rainbow"... OMG.. Bertone out of control. But the shooting brake comes close. |

1-Most ugly Ferrari = Modulo PPi Mondial Raibow 308 Daytona shooting brake by Panther 2-The early 348 are said to be troublesome ? 3-Zagato did design a few 250 GT that are breathtaking . esp 0665GT

I think those 408 P's and (at least the front of the) 288 Evolution were pretty ugly.

It's a wonderful tropical evening here and over pre dinner drinks we were talking Ferrari... Questions came up and let's see what all of you think: 1. What is or was the most ugly Ferrari? Specials do count and so do show cars. 2. What was the most badly made Ferrari? Only production cars. 3. Did any design house produce a more attractive body than PinninaFarinna for Ferrari? We all know that we love Ferrari and think they are the center of the car universe so It could be fun to step back and see what we all think are the "black sheep" of the family. |
