Some were successful just pulling it with everything in place. Since I had the tanks out to refinish them, I removed the aluminum firewall panels and unclipped the hoses and pulled it straight out. The real b---- is up at the front wheelwell, you must remove the little access panel so you can route the hose around a sharp bend. Otherwise, its next to impossible. Im trying to replace the heater hose in my 78 308 that runs from the plentum then through the cavity under the drivers door. It wont pull out. Do I have to remove the gas tank to unclip it or something? This small project is turning into a major pain. Has to be done though, 25 yr old hoses. thanks |
