I did one of these for the F12 wheels and figured while we have a bunch of the 458 wheels in stock we could do it again. Only problem is, we do not have the basic 458 "twisty" wheels in stock. So if anybody has those and can weigh the wheels only it would be great. This is using our cheep shipping scale but it seems to be pretty accurate. We put a 15lb barbell on the scale to check accuracy and it was 15lbs dead on.

This is the F12 link if interested.

    Specs
*Standard 458 wheels sizes and specs are
    20”, 5 X 114.3 mm Front 8.5J X 20 ET 46.5mm, Rear 10.5J X 20 ET 58.5 mm

**Speciale and Aperta wheel sizes and specs are
    20”, 5 X 114.3 mm Front 9J X 20 ET 44.7 mm, Rear 11J X 20 ET 48.4 mm

First the optional forged "Sport" wheels not sure who makes these/not marked (diamond cut w/grey finish)
    Front wheels 23 lbs each
    Rear wheels 25 lbs each

Next the Speciale forged wheels by Super Alloys of Taiwan (corsa grey finish)
    Front wheels 18 lbs each
    Rear wheels 22 lbs each

Finally the Special Aperta forged wheels by Super Alloys of Taiwan (diamond cut w/black finish)
    Front wheels 21.5 lbs each
    Rear wheels 23.5 lbs each

Here are the wheels we used in order.

Interesting stuff, thanks. Unsprung weight FTW!

I'd personally be interested in seeing some weights for aftermarket wheels (proper ones for driving, not the silly 22 inch stuff!) too, if anybody has any of those.

Chris- Good info, thanks. Now I just need the offsets for the 488 wheels that are probably close to the Speciale/Aperta wheels since they are the same widths.

Is there any difference in weight between the diamond cut/grey and the similarly styled painted versions of that wheel (like the silver or grey ones)?

if you mean in comparison of the same wheels just different finish, it would be minimal if anything.

    OZ Superforgiata.

    8.5 x 20 - ET 44 - 19.5 lbs. Polisehd (lightest version)
    11 x 20 - ET 56 - 21 lbs. Polished (lightest version)

They are also available in a 19" version that is even lighter. Great for track days.

    9 x 20 - ET 40 - 18.4 lbs. Polished
    11 x 20 - ET 52 - 21 lbs. Polished

And yes, the 19" will fit the 458.

The Forgeline GA1R is also a very light offering. Not sure about the weight, but most likely lighter than the offerings from OZ.

Yes, they look the same, but I asked because I wondered if the difference was just the final finishing or if there was a difference in the actual wheel material underneath.

The 458 Speciale wheels were the lightest wheels made by Ferrari for the 458 model We have 1complete and mint set ready to ship now for $6k w/caps delivered in the continental USA.

*Improves all driving characteristics because your lowering the UNSPRUNG weight! Braking, handling, acceleration and steering. We think they look sexier also!

Yeah sorry we don't take them in on trade anymore as they are a very hard sale. So I wont be providing the weights for that set unless I stumble upon a dirt cheap set and buy them. Cheap for them would be $1K or under and still would probably pass on them.

I have a set of the base Ninja stars that I bought for use in Winter. I can weigh them with the tire on at the end of the season when I put the summers back on if it would be helpful to anyone (tire weight is known so would be able to get a rough estimate).

I had to bump this thread simply because it's awesome. Very cool info here. I have the Speciale wheels on mine and didn't even realize the Speciale wheels go up from the stock 20x8.5 & 20x10.5 and go to 20x9 & 20x11. So a half inch wider front and rear

Genuine Ferrari titanium bolts are two-piece with a rotating collar being the second piece, and a 17mm hex socket head. A full set is around $2,500.
Aftermarket ones tend to be one piece but cost around $400 a set. https://www.acerracing.com/products/ferrari-titanium-lug-bolts

Not always. The ones found on the Pistas for instances are once piece.
