I didn't review it (the taste or effectiveness). I just said I have never tried it, the reason for which is I know of the nasty stuff in it. BTW, I don't normally drink coffee. I've had 6 cups of coffee in my life, the first being a cup of Cuban coffee I tried when in Miami, and the last five on Thursday last week.
I guess I'm the only one that thinks Coke Blak tastes alright. Not going to run out of my way to buy some, but it's not bad.
I sometime mix my left over coffee w/ coke, instead of adding sugar. It tastes okay to me. I haven't had any energy drinks that worked yet, except REGAIN Royal Jell. Regain's best drink cost almost $30 a bottle (I don't know the name, but it's in a gold box) I didn't even notice S. Segal's face on the can till I read Will's comment. He hasn't made any hit for while in movies, so he is versifying his field. Nothing wrong w/ that!
They sell this energy drink in 7-11s in Canada. For Canadians, the name says it all! Image Unavailable, Please Login
they're is an insane amount of energy drinks....but the "big" money isn't being made by everyone. Brands like Red Bull, Rockstar, Full Throttle and Sobe Rush basically hold a "monopoly." Brands like Monster, Guru, Base and so on (the original energy drinks) have somewhat faded away....it is definately a big industry...but it's how much you can make attention drawn to your company. Energy Drink companies = The flashiest damn companies i've ever come across
http://www.bevnet.com/reviews/nos_energy_drink/ haven't tried it, but heard its much better than BLAK and Red Bull
It's total crap, just a cleaver name to sell it. I saw it a couple of months ago & took the risk to test it out, just as I thought it gave me no boost.
Cool, can you enlighten us as to their profit margin ? It must be around 95% in order for them to own and operate their own F1 team, and soccer team, and yachting team.... and whatever else they own....
I've look into it and it cost them about 2/3 the cost of a regular soda, mostly due to such small cans using less aluminum and cardboard for packaging. (Not counting marketing/advertising, just gross materials) It's effin brilliant I tell ya, charge 4x as much, give you half the volume, sheesh. Between that and myspace, a couple stupidly simple hundread million dollar ideas. Guess I just put too much faith in society as a whole to come up with such a grand venture.
A lot of my fellow automotive marketing students love that stuff. I tried it in November at SEMA. Its okay. I do prefer Monster drinks, though.
One word. REDLINE. That stuff gets you jacked. If your under 170lbs dont drink the whole thing.. and never drink it on an empty stomach. Makes you shiver.. I am a health nut and drink over 8 glasses of water a day but when I reach for something other than that (or a beer) it has to be Redline. All the other stuff is just sugar and crap. Makes me feel like crap or doesnt do anything.
