It was exactly what I was looking for so I called right away followed by a road trip the next day (I recall). After looking at it, test driving with my wife, I couldn't resist. Four Ferraris so far since 1994, and looked at many others as well. No sight-unseen buys for me.
My listing is now live on BaT, feel free to contact me if you have any questions. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1992-ferrari-348-5/
There are a couple of threads on it but I don't have first-hand experience. I think using a broker is the easiest way, also the car being 25 may make things easier. I'd help out in any way I can, of course. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/importing-to-the-us-from-canada.539747/#post-145088693
Got it thanks, no AC and needed major bothers me but will keep an eye on it thanks Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using FerrariChat.com mobile app
There is no needed major... Was completed in 12/16 with metal impeller water pump, changed oil chain pad and tensioner, HE belt tensioners etc and only started running in 2017 season for ~5'000km. Good luck in your search!

For those that keep track of pricing/miles etc. My neighbor here in SD just sold (after being on the market for 4 months) his 1990 red/tan TS with 20k miles for $50k even. It was in excellent condition and he just did a $26k Major Svc (belts, clutch, tires, battery etc) by Ferrari of San Diego last year because it had been sitting in his garage for the past 10 years not driven. Awesome cars for the $.
Why do you have 3 different threats going (including this one) for the same thing at the same time? Mods should merge these. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/348-tb-or-ts.574125/ https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/wtb-348-ts-tb-driver.537239/
$26k seems like a colossal price for a major + extras even at dealership shop rates. Am I wrong? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks for the heads up, however one thread is from 2016. It seems he bought a 348, reluctantly sold it in 2018, and is now back in the market for another one. Given that this is a new search for another car, I've declined merging the 2016 thread and just closed that one - it'd only distract from recent leads. More recent threads are now merged. All the best, Andrew.
Thanks I have a few I'm looking at. Looking for a good driver no museum piece. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using FerrariChat.com mobile app
