http://bil.feber.se/2006/02/fungerande_mini.html Sorry if it is a repost... can't find it here. Enjoy.
Thanks. Very cool video. Too bad the image quality is awful. 15 years building the car!!! Jeez.... It's sooo cool that the engine works!!!
Oh my god. That's unreal!!!! It even sounds awesome! My 1:18's just don't mean anything to me anymore
Now we have the answer to the age old question for this years xmas. "What do I get the person that has everything Ferrari?" Thanks for the video it was great.
Pierre Scerri makes few years ago a great model: 312 P Boxer s/n 0884. look, heard, and give your impressions. http://bil.feber.se/2006/02/fungerande_mini.html in inglish http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3522234692952701573&q=ferrari+312 in French
That is incredible! I saw this about 6 months ago for the first time, but not a whole video like this. just a short clip. Is there a better quality one anywhere? this one is terribly bad visually. The only reason I knew that was Jeremy Clarkson was because of the voice.
Christian, thanks a lot for the hint & link. Thats crazy, insane I`m speechless IT WORKS and runs!!!!!!
I agree. If you think about it he said it took him something like 20K hours to build. That would be almost seven years if you worked at it as an 8 hour/day job!!
I think it was Car and Driver that did a write up on him and the car a number of years ago. It blew my mind to read about it then, but to actually see it work in the video was amazing.
That guy is amazing. A working 12 cylinder engine and full gearbox with reverse.... I was hypnotized! Anyone want to bet whether he's divorced!
Know what he should do is put some servos in and a reciever and make it the most kick a$$ R/C car ever.
From the article I read on it, he had some trouble with the gearbox, and Ferrari stepped in and had one of their retired machinists make the gearbox for him. I think it was the same machinist who made the original. Fantastic video. I just have to watch it even though I've seen it a dozen times before. Thor
Likely never married! Simon, I shot video of him demonstrating the car during the 1994 FCA Nationals in Monterey. I'll look for the tape next time you come over. KevFla
I am looking for the ling to the French guy that built a 1/4 scale (I think) running Ferrari 330, does anyone have that link? Thanks in advance, Stephane scaledetails
