Yes, they are not for a 308, but at 40 euro (20 euro each) you can buy them without asking too much... Ciao
Damn, I guess THAT reputation, alone, is worth the heartache that came with those three cars!! It was the effort of trying to get "Books and Tools" into all three, that got me where I am today!! No where.... Sorry guys, I was on a 2,000 mile expedition, over the weekend, to bring home a new rusty Italian car....I seem to be running low on those....... I think the clutch in the tow vehicle is gone now...
please find the copy... one is original and one is redone: which one? (Nerofer, choose one, It's you one...) I have also a copy of 308 version and the jack bag (same quality) Not the tools, they are all original: just the bag. ciao Edit: pictures show the 328 toolbag. Still looking for a set of original screwdrivers for my 1981 308 GTSi. If you hear of any for sale please let me know. Cheers Dave
I think only details like the snaps can be used to tell them apart. Is it carrying "Fiocchi * italy" like the pictured ones? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I just pulled this out just to see what was in it. I probably have not looked at this in over 30 years! I think this is all that was in there origionally, unless someone took somthing out. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Of course, it looks really good in the pictures and I was wondering the fabricator took it further to such detailed level or not ;-)
The answer is this: I don't know which brand of snaps they used, as I did not check. I will do it tomorrow as I do not have the bag here now. And, above all, I'm not sure Fiocchi was the only brand of snaps there is on tools roll: I will check with the five original tools roll I have and I will let you know! Ciao
Piezo, here below there is the the picture of my OEM 308 GTB tools roll snap inner side: the snap isn't a Fiocchi, so they used several brands of snaps, exactly like they did with the owner's pouch snap. The copy is very but very close to the original: same materials, same measures, but of course if you take a lens (and you have an OEM one to compare...), you will find some small differences. But maybe you will find some differences if you compare two OEM ones too... ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login
You should check the back of the male stud, it's there instead of this female part. That star-like pattern is exactly the ones on my tool rolls with Fiocchi snaps.
you were right, Piezo: there is the writing Fiocchi, on the OEM snaps, while there isn't any writing on the copy's snaps. You can compare the two tools roll. The OEM is the one with the original and complete tools and the writing on the snap. But I will check on the others tools roll too very soon: I think there are some different ones on any tools roll. And I will ask if the have some NOS Fiocchi snaps... You always learn something, here! ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
jack kit bag is correct tool roll bag is from a Porsche 911 (as can be seen in your tool bag, you have the Ferrari ratchet, jack adapter and wheel nut tool, maybe even the correct ignition plug socket and the emergency window crank - rest probably Porsche tools)
Thanks: that's the reason why I never saw one before... I confirm the jack kit is correct and complete. ciao
So when did the jack switch from yellow to black? I have a perfect jack kit, the jack is still actually wrapped in plastic, but it is the black jack. I bought it for my '78 308 but it'll be up for sale before long. Someone mentioned that for a '78 it should have been a yellow jack.
I just checked again, the tools look like they are from Ferrari. I am really shocked about the tool roll bag. Does anyone know where I can get a correct one?
