Since i've had it my yearly average has always been 500 max, although its only done a few since getting it out of storage

 

Since ownership of nearly a year. I have done around 3000km.

 

3000 miles in nine weeks of ownership...

2500 miles/yr, I bought the car with 15750 and the car has about 22000, its an 89 328 GTS

Have had it since March - seems like it has spends more time in the shop than on the road. When it is running, I drive it to work a least once a week (50 miles round trip) and on the weekends (another 50 miles recreational driving). This extrapolates out to about 5200 miles/year. Divide by 2 for shop time and my travels = 2600/year. Oops ! I voted 1000-2499 before composing this ! OK, subtract Xmas vacation and sick time ... -101 miles = 2499

 

Carbon you are one of Alison's favorite people. The red car has had one more round trip to the east coast since you drove her in Sonoma. She has been on holiday for the past few weeks but is begging to be back on the road.

10,000 per year

 

19 months of ownership and I've put 12,000 miles on my 360. All weekend and run miles.

 

I have had my 328 for only 5 days. And so far I have clocked 88 miles. Exciting miles!!
It has 4865 miles on her when I bought it.

 

3000 miles in 10 months of ownership, so with planned drives and impromptu runs looks like 4000 miles+/- this year.

That car is dying to be driven. Take it easy on her for the next few hundred and then she should start to improve and get even more exiting.

 

but don't expect to keep it up - should average approx 6-8k miles/year.

The more I drive her, the less the total cost of ownership seems to be.

Great to see the newer cars be driven so extensively!

I'm only at 37K in 18 months. I feel like such a slacker now.

 

I haven't put 499 miles on both of my cars combined in the last five years.

 

I average about 10k per year. This year a little less, hopefully with the 430, I'll start using it more to commute in, save the 3/toll.

You forgot a bin for all enthusiasts who manage to put "negative mileage" on their car each year. Otherwise numerous 25.000 mls F-cars offerend on Ebay with suspiciously rotten interior are hard to explain - unless their owners maybe just live in their car w/o driving it.

 

I had just over 1,300 miles after about 15 months, but then got it together and now have put about 800 miles in 5 months. So I would fall in the 1000-2499 category.
